After leaving his law practice, Taylor began his official wine career at the esteemed Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits in New York City where he received significant high-end retail wine sales and operations experience. He has a wine accreditation from the French Culinary Institute and served as the wine director for Strip House, the famous New York City steak house, before opening California Wine Merchants in the heart of Manhattan's Financial District.

Taylor is currently appearing on PBS as a cast member of the new television series, The Wine Makers. (www.thewinemakers.tv) and can be seen around the country on your local PBS affiliate.
