Estate Vineyard Acreage
Antica Napa Valley is located in the eastern mountains of Napa Valley in the Atlas Peak District. There are 550 acres of vineyard planted on the estate that totals 1,200 acres. The vineyards are planted at an elevation of 1,500 to 1,800 feet above sea level. The estate occupies the headwaters of the Milliken and Rector watersheds that flow to the Napa River below. The unique topography of the estates allowed for alluviasl series soils to form in the lower elevations. This is where the Chardonnay grapes are grown. The higher elevations are made up of volcanic series soils. These rocky, low fertility soils are where the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown.
