Seawind Wines: winery information
Winemaker: Ken Dunkley and Chris Nelson
Ken studied food microbiology and fermentation science at UC Davis. His Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines are crafted using the best of old and new world techniques. He created Seawind Wines to capture the essence of grapes cooled by sea winds. Chris loves the science of winemaking. He has a Master’s in Enology from Fresno State and a chemistry degree from Vanderbilt. He honed his winemaking at Lynmar Winery (Russian River), at Dry River Winery (Martinborough, New Zealand), and at Araujo Wines (Calistoga). He brings deep understanding of the grape and winemaking to Seawind Wines.
