Incredible color. As good a Cab Franc as is produced anywhere in North America, and probably will be even better in less difficult years. Nose is full of baked plum with hardly a hint of herb. Really excellent structure with none of the grainy dryness to which the variety is prone, but instead, a rich, fat, dense mouthfeel of great depth and minerality. Exciting evidence of what can be done in the region with the right clone. (230 cases, 13% alc)
