Fine starts in the vineyard. Our vineyard is influenced by our climate, soil, our Swiss-German heritage, and over twenty-five years of experience in testing more than twenty different grape varieties. As a result, our vineyard is an eclectic mix of traditional Old World grapes such as Pinot Noir, Lemberger, Cabernet Franc; turn-of-the-century hybrids such as Seyval Blanc, Vidal and Chambourcin; and New-Age grapes like Cayuga and Traminette. This provides the winemaker with a rich selection of grapes with which to create outstanding varietals and interesting blends. Vynecrest is proud to be part of this new revolution and we hope to share this excitement with you.
