Ledgewood Creek Winery & Vineyards
2010 Chardonnay, Winemaker Signature, Estate Grown(Suisun Valley)
Suisun Valley has a very diverse climate that expresses over the 8 miles of north to south run. Up to 14F degrees can separate the upper valley from lower. Growers have learned cool climate grapes excel in the lower half of the valley and that is precisely where Ledgewood Creek Chardonnay vineyards are situated.
Winemaker Larry Langbehn continues to craft chardonnay of lush elegance with the 2010 Estate bottling. Aromtics of toasty oak and vanilla great the nose, followed by full mouth feel with lively acidity, notes of green apple, pear finished by a ongoing juicy rememberance.
Wonderful wine for pairing with seafoods seeking crisp bright flavor, summer fare or Thanksgiving dinner.
