Chimney Rock Winery
2007 Elevage Blanc(Stags Leap District ~ Napa Valley)
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris (!), this wine’s aroma is strikingly fresh and fruity, with pears and nuances of fig, and the depth of the wine is astounding. It’s made pretty much as you might imagine a cross of Sancerre and Graves. It should age nicely for a few years.
