Zugibe Vineyards began in 2005 with an initial planting of 9 vinifera varietals encompassing 23 acres of vineyards. These varietals include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. In 2007 an additional 17 acres were planted in Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Lemberger and the first planting in New York State of the Austrian varietal Gruner Veltliner.
Proprietors are Anna Zugibe, Frederick T. Zugibe III, Brendan Zugibe and Sean Zugibe
