Tarsitano Winery |
The Tarsitano vineyards were planted in Northeastern Ohio in 1998, with the winery opening in 2001. Today the winery has 13 acres in production with a mix of vinifera and hybrid varieties including Auxerrois, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Lemberger, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Seyval.
Tarsitano Winery's beautiful and picturesque location with outdoor terraces overlooks the vineyards and farmlands. Winemaker Kenneth Tarsitano's unique boutique style of winemaking interprets traditional wine in new ways; pulling artistic and natural elements from the environment.

Visiting the Winery
From downtown Cleveland take Interstate-90 to the North Kingsville Exit at State Route-193. Head straight ahead (east) on Rt-84 for 2.9 miles, then turn left on State Rd and continue for 1.5 miles, then turn right on Hatches Corners Rd to the winery.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 12-6pm; Friday and Saturday 11-9 pm.
Tours: Vineyard tours by appointment only.
Tastings: Daily Gifts: Arts and crafts and wine artifacts, gismos and gadgets, jams, jellies, nuts, fruits.
Events: Covered Bridge Weekend in October.
Restaurant: Café with light fare.
