Stratus Vineyards is an innovative, sustainable, gravity-flow winery located in the historic Ontario town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Stratus is dedicated to growing and producing limited quantities of premium wine in the Niagara Lakeshore appellation. J-L Groux, our winemaker believes that the art of "assemblage" is the quintessence of winemaking. The synergy created with "assemblage" reflects the age old theory that the sum is greater than the parts.
In the spirit of sustainability, Stratus is the first building in Canada and the first winery in the world to receive LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
