Lunenburg County Winery |
Lunenburg County Winery sits on a drumlin surrounded by Acadian forest and a multitude of lakes in the community of Newburne, nestled along the north branch of the LaHave River. Ancient fundy soils (wolfville sandy loam) were deposited following the retreating glaciers. Today as in the past these drumlin farms have the best soils in Lunenburg County for harvesting ripe delicious fruit crops including grapes heated by well deserved and long awaited summers and cooled by gentle Atlantic breezes.
