Chateau aux Arc Vineyards |
Named for the original French spelling of "Ozark," Chateau Aux Arc planted its roots when 21-year-old Audrey House purchased Arkansas’ oldest vineyard of Chardonnay grapes back in 1998 and immediately set about the business of bringing distinctive new flavors and her own personal style to Arkansas Wine Country. It wasn’t long before the newest winery in Altus, Arkansas, began attracting state, national and international recognition. Wine enthusiasts were quick to discover that Chateau aux Arc’s steadily growing varieties and award-winning vintages—from signature Chardonnays to native Cynthianas to hearty Cabernets—stood head-to-head (and nose-to-nose) with the competition.
