Carlos Creek Winery is located in the Alexandria Lakes area in west central Minnesota and in the heart of Minnesota's first Federally Approved Viticultural Area (AVA). Our location is nestled between five of the deepest lakes in Minnesota, moderating our climate resulting in higher winter temperatures and lower summer temperatures than surrounding areas. Our vineyards are planted with cold-hearty grape varieties and include: Frontenac, Sabrevois, Valiant, King of the North, Brianna, Marquette, Petite Pearl and Prairie Star.
