Winemaker: Kian Tavakoli

Kian has headed-up our winemaking team since 2004. He is a graduate of UC Davis, and has worked at both Opus One and Clos du Val wineries. While at Clos du Val, Kian headed-up the red wine program focusing on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon production. Working together as a team, Kian handles our day-to-day winemaking operations and brings to life our vision for each wine. He shares our passion for producing the best wines possible from the best fruit sources while retaining a sense of place in our wines.
