Lancaster Estate remains true to the founding vision of Proprietor Ted Simpkins. We are a family owned winery, dedicated to crafting wines that are Estate grown, bottled, and produced.
The Estate is located at the southernmost tip of Alexander Valley, and includes 53 hillside acres of vineyard surrounding the winery. Situated near the confluence of the Knights Valley and Chalk Hill appellations, this location offers a great diversity of soils and micro-climates and the optimum growing conditions for Bordeaux varieties.

Visiting the Winery
Situated on the narrow and less-traveled roads of southern Alexander Valley, Lancaster Estate recalls the bucolic essence of wine country’s past. The lush composition of our agrarian setting, the harmony between our winery and its surroundings, and the sanctuary of our caves all have to be experienced first hand.
Tasting & Tours:
Tasting and Tours are private and by appointment only. Led by our experienced Wine Educators, you’ll trace the evolution of our wines from grape to glass. Our tours feature a tasting of three current release wines.
Hours:
We are open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
