Grechetto Grape Details
Grechetto has origin in Greece yet is known as an Italian white wine grape of central Italy. Primarily grown in the Umbria where it contributes to the DOC wine Orvieto. Its thick skin provides resistence to fungal infections such sa Downy Mildew and provides cause to be included in such fermentations that create the Vin Santo, a sweet desert wine.
