Ventana Vineyards
2007 Gewurztraminer(Arroyo Seco)
Quite ripe aroma of carnations and rose petals; 2 percent residual sugar, so it’s slightly on the sweet side and thus matches well with spicy Thai food. From a vineyard that has traditionally grown some of the best Gewurztraminer in the state.

He has never used numbers to rank wine and doesn’t plan to start any time soon.
